Ihara is a tram stop on the Azumada Main Line of the Toyohashi Rail Road, in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. Its stop number is 12. The stop opened on 1 June 1960. When the branch to Undokoenmae opened on 31 July 1982, a branch turnout and additional safety zones were installed here. The stop lies on street-running track, where three single-sided safety zones serve two tracks, and the boarding positions for the three directions of travel are placed separately across the intersection.

The branch toward Undokoenmae diverges near the middle of the Ihara intersection on a curve of 11 m radius, the sharpest on any railway track in Japan, and because the ultra-low-floor T1000 series cannot negotiate it, those cars run only on services to and from Akaiwaguchi.
