Keirinjo-mae Station opened on 17 September 1950. It is a tram stop operated by the Toyohashi Rail Road. Until a safety zone was installed on 20 March 2007, it had two platforms on two tracks, though they were only road paint. It now has one safety zone and one track, with both directions sharing the boarding place. Since the change, trams arriving from the Toyohashi Station end wait about 4 minutes for an oncoming tram to leave, adding about 1 minute to journeys. In the morning and evening, several trams begin or end their runs here, because the stop has a storage track. The stop is in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, and its stop number is 11.

On race days at Toyohashi's keirin cycle-racing track, a free shuttle bus leaves from the front of Toyohashi Station, and the track is about 500 m from the stop, so although this is the closest stop to it, few racegoers use it.
