History

Yanagawa Stop opened on 5 May 1912 when the Okayama Electric Tramway extended from Ekimae (today's Okayama-Ekimae) to Goshōka (today's Shiroshita). It is located in Nodayachō 1-chōme and Migiyachō in Kita-ku, Okayama City, on the Higashiyama Main Line and Seikibashi Line, and serves as a junction between the two lines. Stop number H03 (Higashiyama Line) and S03 (Seikibashi Line). The stop has a single island platform serving two tracks.
