History

Tachiaigawa Station is a Keikyū Main Line station located in Shinagawa, Tokyo. It opened on 8 May 1904, originally as a ground-level station on what is now the Keikyū Main Line. The Shinagawa-bound platform was relocated to a new elevated structure in June 1989, and the Uraga-bound platform followed in February 1990 as part of the line's grade-separation works. The new station building was completed in March 1991. When Keikyū introduced systematic station numbering across its network on 21 October 2010, Tachiaigawa was assigned the code KK06. The elevated station consists of two side platforms serving two tracks.
