Location

History

Mukohara Stop opened in 1925, when the Oji Electric Tramway opened a section of its line from Otsuka-ekimae. The City of Tokyo bought the company on 1 February 1942, and the stop became part of the municipal tramway's Waseda Line, today's Arakawa Line. Wartime conditions led to the suspension of that line in 1944, and service resumed on 10 July 1946. The stop is at ground level, with two side platforms serving two tracks. It is in Toshima Ward, Tokyo, and is operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation as part of the Toden Arakawa Line (Tokyo Sakura Tram). Its station number is SA 24, and its neighbouring stops are Otsuka-ekimae (SA 23) and Higashi-ikebukuro-yonchome (SA 25).

Notes

The stop's two platforms are staggered, standing at different points on either side of a street rather than directly opposite each other.
