History
Mikkaichi Station opened on 8 April 1963 when Kintetsu's then-Kambe Line was extended from Suzukashi to Hiratachō and renamed the Suzuka Line. The crossing loop here was removed in September 1973, reducing the station to a single side platform served by a single bi-directional track, with no station building. PiTaPa use began on 1 April 2007. The unattended station, managed remotely from Shirako, is located in the city of Suzuka, Mie Prefecture, and equipped with a boarding-certificate machine and simple IC-card readers for PiTaPa and ICOCA. It carries the line number L32.
