• Meitetsu Hiromi Line: Nishi Kani ⇄ Tomioka-mae

Zenjino Station opened on 24 April 1925 on what is now the Meitetsu Hiromi Line. It became unstaffed on 1 October 1967, almost half a century before similar treatment of neighbouring stops. A station-cluster management system was installed in 2007: the new building's construction began on 28 April that year, and the Transpass ticketing system entered service on 8 August. The station sits in a wooded valley near Aichi's border with Gifu, and a small roundabout south of the platforms was completed in March 2004 after widening the connector road from the highway above. The old Kisokaidō post town of Zenjino-juku once lay nearby.

Zenjino sits beside the Tōkai Nature Trail and is the trailhead for hikes to nearby Tsugao-yama and Hatobuki-yama, drawing walkers who make the trip from Inuyama.
