Location

History

Yoshinochō Station opened on 16 December 1972 as an underground stop on the Yokohama Municipal Subway, located in Minami-ku of Yokohama. It is now part of the Blue Line (Line 1) and lies 17.6 km from the line's far terminus at Shōnandai. The station has a single island platform serving two tracks, and platform screen doors were retro-fitted in September 2007. It is operated as part of Yokohama's municipal subway network.

Notes

Platform screen doors were fitted in September 2007, a relatively early adoption on the Yokohama subway.
