Location
History
Tsugaru-Ōsawa Station is a staffed Kōnan Railway Ōwani Line station in the city of Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. It opened on 26 January 1952 with the Ōwani Line. The station has a single island platform serving two tracks, plus an attached rail yard containing the maintenance and inspection facilities used for the line's rolling stock and the electrical substation that powers the Ōwani Line. It lies 6.7 kilometres from the southern terminus at Ōwani Station.
Notes
The station yard houses both the maintenance shops for the Ōwani Line's rolling stock and the substation that supplies traction power to the entire line.
