History
Tsugaru-Nakasato Station opened on 13 November 1930 as the terminus of the Tsugaru Railway Line, a private line in the town of Nakadomari, Aomori Prefecture, operated by the Tsugaru Railway Company. The station lies 20.7 km from the line's opposing terminus at Tsugaru-Goshogawara, and is the line's northern endpoint. It has a single side platform serving one bidirectional track laid out as a reversing headshunt, and is staffed.
