History

Toritsu-daigaku Station, an elevated stop on the Tokyu Tōyoko Line in Meguro Ward, Tokyo, opened on 28 August 1927 under the name Kakinokizaka Station. It took its present name in 1952. The station has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks and can accept local trains of up to eight cars. It is one of the smaller intermediate stops on the Tōyoko Line as it runs between Shibuya and Yokohama.
