Location
History
Todoroki Station opened on 1 November 1929. It stands in Setagaya, Tokyo, on the Tokyu Oimachi Line. Its station number is OM13. The station has a single ground-level island platform serving two tracks, and express trains do not stop here. It was the last Oimachi Line station to receive platform doors; their entry into use on 22 March 2020 completed the installation of platform doors or sensor-equipped fixed barriers at every Tokyu station except those on the Setagaya and Kodomonokuni lines. A plan to rebuild the station underground, with passing tracks for express trains, has not started: fears for the spring water of nearby Todoroki Ravine prompted opposition, and the plan is effectively frozen.
Notes
Todoroki Ravine, near the station, is the only ravine inside Tokyo's 23 special wards.
