History
Telecom Center Station opened on 1 November 1995 as a station on the Yurikamome (formally the Tokyo Waterfront New Transit Line) in Kōtō, Tokyo. It is numbered U-09 and consists of a single elevated island platform; the station is unattended. It is named after the adjacent Telecom Center building, although its pre-opening provisional name was "Aomi Pier Station" (青海ふ頭駅). The station is the southernmost stop on the Yurikamome line within Kōtō Ward.
Notes
Telecom Center is the closest Yurikamome station to several major Aomi/Daiba landmarks, including the Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation), the Fuji TV Wangan Studio, and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology's Waterfront Subcentre.
