• Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line: Nunose ⇄ Kawachi-Matsubara

Takaminosato Station opened on 1 September 1932 on the Osaka Railway between Nunose and Kawachi-Matsubara, established that April as the nearest stop for Osaka University of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which had relocated from Moriguchi. In 1943 the line passed to Kansai Express Railway through merger, and the wartime consolidation of 1 June 1944 placed it on the Kintetsu Minami Osaka Line. PiTaPa acceptance began on 1 April 2007. A barrier-free renovation, completed on 10 December 2020, linked the two side platforms with an elevator and elevated walkway so strollers and wheelchairs could move between them.
