History
Ryūmai Station opened on 10 May 1942 on the Tōbu Koizumi Line in what is now Ōta, Gunma Prefecture; it is the only intermediate stop on the branch portion of the Koizumi Line. The station became unstaffed and kan'i itaku-operated on 1 September 1973, joined the PASMO network on 18 March 2007, and received a rebuilt station building in 2008. Station numbering as TI-47 was introduced across the Tōbu network on 17 March 2012. The kan'i itaku arrangement ended on 31 March 2022, leaving an unmanned PASMO-equipped halt. The single island-platform station has space reserved on its southern side for a future south exit pending district land-readjustment work.
Notes
Ryūmai is the only intermediate stop on the Ōta branch of the Tōbu Koizumi Line, all other stations on the branch being termini.
