• Tōkaidō Main Line: Azuchi ⇄ Shinohara (Shiga)

Ōmi-Hachiman Station is an interchange between JR West and the Ohmi Railway in the city of Ōmihachiman, Shiga Prefecture. The JR portion opened on 1 July 1889 as Hachiman Station when the Tōkaidō Main Line was extended between Sekigahara and Baba (now Zeze), and the Ohmi Railway portion opened on 29 December 1913 as Shin-Hachiman Station of the Konan Railway; both adopted the current name on 11 March 1919. The JR side carries the Biwako Line (Tōkaidō Main Line) running 28.4 kilometres from Maibara and 474.3 kilometres from Tokyo, while the Ohmi side terminates the Yōkaichi Line 9.3 kilometres from Yōkaichi. Station numbering for the JR platforms (JR-A19) was introduced in March 2018.

Ōmi-Hachiman's JR platforms are the busiest between Kusatsu and Nagahama on the Biwako Line's twin-track segment, and the Ohmi Railway side is the busiest station on the entire Ohmi Railway network.
