History

Okuda Station opened on 3 February 1928 on the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line in Ichinomiya, Aichi. It became unstaffed at some point before 1 November 1948 and today operates under the remote-monitoring system administered from Sugaguchi Station. The grade-level station has two opposed side platforms with a six-car effective length, and a separate ticket building was added at the Gifu end of each platform when the remote-management system was installed; there is no paid-area passage between the platforms. manaca acceptance began on 11 February 2011, and Transpas service ended on 29 February 2012. The station carries number NH46.
