History
Nishi-Agano Station opened on 14 October 1969 on the Seibu Chichibu Line in the city of Hannō, Saitama Prefecture, 3.6 km from the line's official starting point at Agano. System-wide station numbering across Seibu Railway during fiscal 2012 designated the station SI32. On 1 March 2023 permanent staffing was discontinued and the station was switched to a patrol arrangement, with over-the-counter ticket and IC-card top-up services ending at the same time. The station has one island platform serving two tracks, connected to the station building on the western side of the line by a level crossing on the Hannō end, with a passenger toilet in the station forecourt. Disused freight passing-loop sidings remain.
