History

Mitakeguchi Station opened on 21 August 1920 as Mitake Station on what is now Meitetsu's Hiromi Line, in the town of Mitake, Gifu Prefecture. It was renamed Mitakeguchi on 1 April 1952. The station sits 21.7 km from the line's terminus at Inuyama and consists of a single ground-level side platform serving one bi-directional track. There is no station building, and the station is unattended.

Notes

The station kept the name "Mitake" for over three decades before adopting "Mitakeguchi" ("Mitake gateway") in 1952, after the route was extended further on.
