Kunifusa Station opened on 20 December 1919 on what is now the Inbi Line, in the city of Tottori, Tottori Prefecture. It came under JR West on 1 April 1987 with the privatisation of Japanese National Railways. The ground-level station has a single side platform serving one bidirectional track. The original wooden station building has been demolished except for the waiting-room portion, which remains in use; the station has no on-duty staff.
