History

Koyama Station is in Tottori City on the San'in Main Line, 234.5 km from the line's terminus at Kyoto. It opened on 28 April 1907, and came under the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) with the privatisation of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987. The station has two opposed ground-level side platforms connected by a footbridge to the station building, and is now unstaffed.
