Location
History
Kamihama Station opened on 1 March 1952 on the Japan National Railways Uetsu Main Line in what is now the city of Nikaho, Akita Prefecture. With the privatisation of the JNR on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of the East Japan Railway Company. The station consists of two opposed side platforms connected to the station building by a footbridge, and is unattended. It is located 198.5 kilometres along the line from its terminus at Niitsu Station.
