• Yosan Line: Kōnokawa ⇄ Shimonada

Iyo-Kaminada Station opened on 1 December 1932 as the temporary terminus of the Yosan Line on its westward extension from Iyoshi. It became a through-station on 9 June 1935 when the line — by then renamed the Yosan Main Line — was extended further to Shimonada. Freight handling ended in November 1971 and parcel handling in February 1984. With the 1 April 1987 privatisation of Japanese National Railways the station passed to JR Shikoku, and it was destaffed on 21 November 1991 when the Iyo-Kaminada to Iyo-Shirataki section was placed under centralised traffic control. From 15 March 2014 its stretch of line acquired the marketing name "Ai aru Iyo-Nada Line". It carries the station number S08.

The "Iyo" prefix exists because, when the station opened in 1932, another "Kaminada Station" already existed on the Kurayoshi Line — although it was read "Uwanada" and uses the same kanji.
