• Miyazu Line: Amanohashidate ⇄ Yosano

Iwatakiguchi Station opened on 31 July 1925 in what is today the city of Miyazu, Kyoto Prefecture, and is operated by the private railway company Willer Trains as part of the Kyoto Tango Railway network. The stop sits on the Miyazu Line, 32.8 km from the line's terminus at Nishi-Maizuru, and is one of the line's many original openings dating to the rebuilding of regional services in 1920s rural Tango. Today the station consists of a single ground-level side platform serving a single bi-directional track, with no station building of its own and no permanent staff. Despite proximity to Suzuhiko Shrine and Route 176, daily use remained modest, averaging 55 passengers in fiscal 2019.

Although the station shares its 31 July 1925 opening date with Amanohashidate Station just one stop away, it has remained an unattended single-platform halt rather than a tourist gateway.
