History
Ishizugawa Station opened on 1 June 1919 as an addition to Nankai Railway's Nankai Main Line between Minato and Suwanomori. Ownership passed to Kinki Nippon Railway during the wartime corporate merger of 1 June 1944, and on 1 June 1947 the line was transferred to the newly reorganised Nankai Electric Railway. The station was rebuilt on an elevated structure in two stages, with the up line raised on 3 July 1983 and the project completed on 7 May 1985. Station numbering NK13 was introduced on 1 April 2012.
Notes
Ishizugawa is the busiest station on the Nankai Main Line that no service above the Kuukan-kyuukou category stops at.
