• Meitetsu Toyokawa Line: Suwachō ⇄ Toyokawa-Inari

Inariguchi Station opened on 1 April 1954 on the Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) Toyokawa Line as an unstaffed halt — and remains unstaffed today. On 15 December 1982 a change in signal-block working switched trains from right-hand to left-hand running through the station. Centralised remote management and the Tranpass IC fare system were introduced on 14 December 2005, the manaca IC card began service on 11 February 2011, and Tranpass service ended on 29 February 2012.

Inariguchi is the quietest stop on the five-station Toyokawa Line, and a chunk of the platform canopy is held up by 1897 steel rail rolled by the Carnegie Steel Company — the same rail material that supports the canopy at the neighbouring Toyokawa-inari terminus. The line's spring-point turnouts impose a permanent 25 km/h speed restriction on down trains and 35 km/h on up trains, regardless of whether a passing move is scheduled.
