History
Imamiya Station serves the Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line) and the Osaka Loop Line in Naniwa-ku, Osaka, operated by West Japan Railway Company. Station numbering was introduced in March 2018, with the station assigned JR-Q18 for the Yamatoji Line and JR-O18 for the Osaka Loop Line. Platforms are arranged across two levels: two platforms on the second level serve three tracks (Yamatoji Line tracks together with the Loop Line outer clockwise track), and a side platform on the third level handles the Loop Line inner counter-clockwise track.
