History
Ido Station opened on 25 July 1947 as Shingyōji Station (真行寺駅) on the Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad's Nagao Line in what is now Miki, Kagawa Prefecture. It was renamed Ido on 1 March 1951, and on 25 August 1996 it gained passing-loop infrastructure. The station today consists of a single island platform served by a level crossing, with no station building beyond shelters on the platforms, and is unstaffed. It carries the line designation N15.
