History
Hachimanmae opened on 16 June 1912 with the inauguration of the Kada Light Railway. The 22 December 1930 corporate rename made it a Kada Electric Railway station, the 1 February 1942 merger placed it under Nankai Railway, the 1 June 1944 merger moved it to Kintetsu, and the 1 June 1947 line transfer brought it to Nankai Electric Railway. Station numbering as NK44-3 was introduced on 1 April 2012.
Notes
Hachimanmae is a ground-level station with two opposed platforms and a passing siding; the station building faces the Kada-bound platform and access to the Wakayamashi-bound side requires crossing the track via a level crossing inside the station. The name is taken from the nearby Kimoto Hachiman-gū shrine.
