Funabori Station is a subway station in Edogawa ward, Tokyo, served by the Toei Subway Shinjuku Line and assigned station number S-17. The station opened on 23 December 1983 as the temporary terminus when the Shinjuku Line was extended one stop east from Higashi-Ōjima. Because no turnback points could be incorporated into the structure, services initially used the Higashi-Ōjima holding tracks to operate as a single-track pair to the new terminal. The station became a through stop on 14 September 1986 when the line was further extended to Shinozaki, and PASMO IC card service began on 18 March 2007. A waiting room on platform 1 entered service on 24 March 2015.
