Fuchidaka Station opened on 1 October 1924 in the village of Saori (now Aisai), as a station on the privately held Bisai Railway. Around 1958 the station became unattended. Until 22 February 2008 the nearby Hosokawa store sold tickets on commission for Meitetsu, the last such consignment ticket agency anywhere on the Meitetsu network. The Tranpass magnetic-fare system entered service on 14 March 2008, followed by Manaca IC ticketing on 11 February 2011. The platforms were extended around 2013 so that both sides can now accept four-car trains.

Fuchidaka's ticket agency at the front-of-station Hosokawa store survived until 22 February 2008, making it the last consignment-sale ticket outlet anywhere on the Meitetsu network.
