History

Erinono Station opened on 1 October 1960 as a Japanese National Railways station. From opening it was an unstaffed station handling diesel-railcar passengers only, and it was inherited by Shikoku Railway Company (JR Shikoku) at the JNR privatization of 1 April 1987. It is a station on the Dosan Line in Nagano, Sakawa-chō, Takaoka District, Kōchi Prefecture; its station number is K14. It is an unstaffed station with a simple single-side platform and a short canopy. The surrounding area is farmland, with Goisan Green Space Park and the Erinono Community Center nearby.
