History
Bushu-nagase Station is on the Tobu Ogose Line, in Moroyama, Saitama Prefecture. The station was moved to its present site in 1959. A single platform on the south side of the line served it until 1987, when the track between here and Higashi-moro was doubled; the station then gained its present two side platforms and two tracks. In 2008 the platforms were fitted with edge sensors and TV monitors, ahead of driver-only operation that began on the line in June. Station numbering began on the line on 17 March 2012. The station number is TJ-44. A new overhead station building with north and south entrances opened on 5 October 2013, after rebuilding in 2012 and 2013.
Notes
The 1959 move to the present site was timed to the opening of a cemetery in 1960, and part of the straight road built then from near the level crossing to the cemetery is still the street in front of the station.
