The unstaffed station sits 50.1 rail kilometers from the line's official starting point at Nishi-Wakamatsu and is served by a single side platform along a bi-directional track. It functions today as a rural request stop on the third-sector line that succeeded the JNR-era Aizu Line south of Aizu-Tajima, and reports an average daily boarding figure in the single digits.
