History
Aizu-Sanson-Dōjō Station opened on July 19, 2001 on the Aizu Railway Aizu Line in the town of Minamiaizu, Minamiaizu District, Fukushima Prefecture. The unstaffed station sits 50.1 rail kilometers from the line's official starting point at Nishi-Wakamatsu and is served by a single side platform along a bi-directional track. It functions today as a rural request stop on the third-sector line that succeeded the JNR-era Aizu Line south of Aizu-Tajima, and reports an average daily boarding figure in the single digits.
